Avvolintim launched in 2015 when three interior architects left a hospitality mega-firm to focus on mid-scale independent restaurants. The name suggests enveloping intimacy—rooms that hold conversation.
We remain nine designers, two visualisers, and a specification writer. Partner attendance is guaranteed at concept presentations.
Bologna's porticoes, university density, and tourism seasonality influence our circulation models. Concepts reference local stone, terracotta, and wrought iron without museum imitation.
We document noise ordinances and outdoor seating permit patterns for municipal submissions clients manage separately.
We accept no kickbacks from contractors or equipment vendors. Equipment locations are shown as zones, not brand placements.
Conflicts are declined when we have concepted competing venues within five hundred metres of the same cuisine category.
We are not a restaurant operator, chef consultancy, or franchise developer. Food safety engineering and ventilation sizing require MEP partners we can introduce but do not employ.
Wellness spas, SaaS dashboards, and meme branding are outside our scope.
Concepts have supported openings featured in Barrique and Identità Golose Interiors. Awards credit clients; we remain backstage unless invited.
